IT support in Liskeard and South East Cornwall

Business IT for Liskeard and the South East of the county, toward the Tamar. Remote support is used first so a short fault does not wait on a long journey. Visits are grouped, agreed, and made to your premises.

This side of the county

Liskeard is a market town in South East Cornwall, on the Tamar side of the county. Offices here are often smaller: a practice, a yard, a family firm, a clinic, a workshop with a few desks. Many deal with customers in the town and also with organisations further east.

Premises we support from here are in Cornwall. Naming Liskeard marks the distance. Truro is served by the same practice.

Why remote support comes first

A journey from one end of the county to the other is a poor answer to a password reset or a mailbox question. Those are handled remotely, with the person at the machine, so the office is not left waiting on a journey across the county. Site visits are for physical faults, installs, and work that has to be seen.

Visits are grouped and timed. If your day can flex by agreement, say so when you get in touch. If it cannot, say that too. The plan is written before anyone sets out, including what happens if the line or the building is not ready.

Liskeard enquiries

Email enquiries@cornwallcomputers.co.uk and we will reply as soon as we can. Name the town in your enquiry, for Liskeard and for other premises in South East Cornwall. A visit, when one is needed, is to your premises at a time agreed with you.

Truro is served by the same practice. Naming a town does not create a branch and does not change who is accountable.

What is different from a city-centre office

A city-centre building often constrains the hour of a visit. Here, the constraint is more often distance, a shared workshop and office, or a line that is the only connection the firm has. The notes reflect that: what was done remotely, what was left for a grouped visit, and which supplier still has to act.

Confidentiality is the same as elsewhere. A smaller town is not a reason to discuss one client's systems with another. Files and passwords are handled as they are on any other job: least access, passwords typed by the user, copies recorded and removed.
